KILLER 19 GHOSTFACE PARTY
Okay, so you're thinking of throwing a Ghostface birthday party? Trust me, it's an absolute blast and surprisingly fun to plan! I just celebrated my 19th birthday with a killer Ghostface theme, and I'm still buzzing from how awesome it turned out. If you want to transform your space into a spooky but super fun Scream-inspired bash, here are some of my top tips and tricks for decor, food, and those little details that make all the difference. First up, decorations are key to setting the mood. For my party, I went all out with a vibrant colorful Ghostface tapestry as a central backdrop. You can find these online pretty easily, or if you're crafty, even project an image and paint one on a large fabric sheet! Around it, I used a classic combination of black, white, and red balloons, which are iconic for Ghostface. Don't forget those huge red '19' balloons to really mark the occasion if it’s a milestone birthday. Mixing in some black and white streamers or even fake cobwebs can add to the spooky vibe without breaking the bank. I also hung a custom Ghostface-themed banner with cool red dripping designs – it really made the wall pop and tied everything together with that slasher aesthetic. Now, let's talk about the treats and drinks – because what's a party without them? My absolute favorite was the Ghostface-themed birthday cake. We had a white cake with dramatic red drip icing and little Ghostface toppers peeking out. It looked amazing and tasted even better! Alongside it, simple black and white cupcakes were a hit. You can decorate these with edible Ghostface masks or just black and white sprinkles. For drinks, I created "Blood Bag Jungle Juice." Seriously, these 'Blood Bag Jungle Juice' pouches filled with a red, fruity punch were a massive talking point and looked incredibly authentic. I sourced the blood bags online and just filled them with a homemade non-alcoholic (or alcoholic, if you prefer!) red punch. And for the ultimate fun factor, we had a 'Wazzup?' Ghostface-themed double beer funnel. It was such a unique prop and added to the theme perfectly. Don't underestimate the power of personal touches! My Ghostface-themed nail art was probably one of the most commented-on details. I had black tips, white Ghostface masks painted on, and sparkling red rhinestones for an extra touch of glamour and gore. It's a fun DIY project if you're steady-handed or a great excuse for a salon visit. You could also encourage your guests to come in Scream-themed outfits or at least black, white, and red attire. Playing the Scream movie soundtrack or horror movie scores in the background also elevates the atmosphere. To keep things budget-friendly, consider making some decorations yourself. Print out Ghostface silhouettes to stick on cups or walls, or create your own dripping blood designs with red paint on white tablecloths. Thrift stores can be great for finding spooky props. The most important thing is to have fun with it and let your inner horror fan shine through! My 19th Ghostface party was unforgettable, and I hope these ideas inspire you to throw an equally epic spooky celebration.
