Do you have this platinum trophy?

Hey fellow trophy hunters! Following up on my recent post, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into my journey earning the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Platinum Trophy on PS4. It truly feels amazing to add this one to my collection, making it my 24th platinum overall and my second for a Call of Duty title! This particular platinum, while certainly challenging, was incredibly rewarding, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and tips with you all. For those of you who've played it, you know the Veteran difficulty can be brutal. I remember starting the campaign on Veteran last year and hitting some serious walls. I actually took a break from it for a while, jumping into some other games like the original CoD 4 (which I also managed to platinum, a fantastic experience in itself!). That break was truly crucial. Coming back to MW2 Remastered with a fresh perspective and less frustration made tackling the remaining trophies much more enjoyable. Sometimes, stepping away from a challenging game, even for a few months, is the best strategy to prevent burnout and return with renewed focus. It really helped me 'clean up' the rest of the trophies without feeling overwhelmed. Cleaning up the remaining trophies after the Veteran run wasn't as bad as the initial grind, but still required attention. Many of these are tied to specific mission challenges or hidden collectibles. My biggest tip for anyone going for this platinum is to utilize guides! Don't be afraid to pull up a video or text guide for collectibles like the 'Intel' pieces, or for specific challenges that seem impossible to figure out on your own. Things like getting multi-kills with specific weapons, completing a section without taking damage, or achieving certain score thresholds can be incredibly frustrating without a clear strategy. For example, the 'Just Like Old Times' trophy for completing the campaign on Veteran or Hardened felt like a badge of honor once it popped! Other unique ones like 'The Price of War' (collecting all Intel) also add replayability. Overall, I found this to be an incredibly satisfying platinum. The stunning remastered visuals on PS4 made replaying the campaign a treat, even on the hardest difficulty. It truly brought back some nostalgic memories while presenting a fresh and engaging challenge.
