Living in Mexico as a stay-at-home mom comes with its unique blend of experiences that shape everyday life. From my perspective, embracing the vibrant culture and warm community is a key part of the journey that makes each day special. The mornings often start with preparing traditional Mexican breakfast dishes that my children love — it’s a small way I connect with our surroundings while nurturing my family. Managing the energy of three kids requires a blend of patience and creativity. Outdoor activities are a favorite, leveraging the beautiful Mexican weather to spend quality time together and encourage exploration. Whether it’s visiting local parks or taking short trips to nearby cultural landmarks, these moments enrich our family bond and my appreciation for this enriching lifestyle. Aside from handling daily routines, I've found that engaging with other moms through community groups and social media helps in sharing resources, advice, and support. This network has been invaluable in navigating challenges unique to raising children abroad, including language nuances, schooling options, and healthcare accessibility. Balancing my personal space and family time is essential too. That’s why I enjoy creating mini vlogs to document our life – it’s a creative outlet and a way to reflect on milestones and memories. These recordings also allow me to connect with a broader audience who share similar experiences or are curious about what life is like as a mom living in Mexico. Living here has taught me resilience and gratitude, and while there are challenges, the rewards far outweigh them. Embracing this lifestyle as a stay-at-home mom means valuing simplicity, community, and the beauty of everyday moments in a culturally rich environment.
