70 pounds!!!!

#fitnessjourney #weightloss #losingtheweight #summerbod #glutesworkout

-before I even thought about tracking food I started lifting weights.

-didn’t rush into cardio, I honestly didn’t do any for the first few months of my lifting journey (this may not be the case for everyone)

-I prioritized high protein meals focusing on Whole Foods rather than supplements

-I trusted myself and knew that I would get to where I wanted to be as long as kept pushing

-let my body rest when I felt it needed it

-indulged in cute gym clothes for motivation … look good feel good

-I took daily pictures after my workouts, you won’t see the small changes in the mirror everyday but you’ll be able to look back on photos

-I made it fun for myself. Embrace the process!!!! You will never truly be satisfied and will always want to change something… live in the now.

... Read moreLosing 70 pounds is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor, and understanding the fundamental principles can greatly enhance your journey. First, it’s crucial to focus on strength training as a foundation; lifting weights can help build muscle, which in turn boosts metabolism. It’s also important not to rush into cardio, especially in the initial stages, as this can lead to burnout and injury. Instead, prioritizing a diet rich in whole foods and high in protein helps fuel workouts and supports muscle recovery. In addition to nutrition and exercise, tracking your progress can be incredibly motivating. Taking photos regularly allows for a visual representation of changes over time, even when they may not be visible in the mirror daily. Surrounding yourself with motivating elements like stylish gym clothes can make a difference in how you feel about your workouts. It's also vital to listen to your body and incorporate rest days as needed. Most importantly, find enjoyment in the process. Fitness is a journey, and embracing it can lead to sustainable changes. Celebrate your milestones, no matter how small, and remember that satisfaction comes from making positive, lasting changes in your lifestyle.
