Long business trip in Cikarang. 🤩
I’m glad I managed to squeeze in a weekend escape to explore South Bandung. Yesterday’s adventure took me to Kawah Putih, Glamping Lakeside Rancabali, Rengganis Suspension Bridge, Kawah Cibuni Rengganis, and Ranca Upas, with a local Sundanese lunch along the way.
Definitely worth the trip before heading back to home! 🇸🇬 ✨
Traveling to South Bandung offers an incredible blend of natural wonders and cultural experiences that really enrich a solo trip or quick weekend escape. One of the highlights is Kawah Putih, a stunning volcanic crater lake renowned for its striking milky turquoise color and misty ambiance that changes with the temperature. It's a photographer’s dream and peaceful spot for reflection. Another must-see is the Rengganis Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Southeast Asia at about 370 meters. Walking across this bridge not only provides thrilling views of the lush valley below but also a unique way to connect with the region’s natural beauty from a different perspective. For adrenaline seekers, the nearby seated zip line offers an exhilarating experience soaring over the landscape. For accommodation, Glamping Lakeside Rancabali is a fantastic option that allows you to enjoy nature with the comfort of a luxury tent. Waking up by the lakeside surrounded by mist-covered hills is unforgettable, providing a relaxing contrast to a busy itinerary. Don’t miss trying traditional Sundanese cuisine along the way. Local dishes highlight fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making each meal a cultural immersion. This culinary experience paired with the scenic adventures of Ranca Upas, known for its deer sanctuary and cool climate, rounds out a memorable trip. Visiting South Bandung is a wonderful way to unwind, explore unique landscapes, and connect with Indonesian culture. Whether you are a solo traveler or just squeezing in a weekend escape during a business trip, this region offers diverse activities and sights that make the journey truly worthwhile.
