From breakout to clear skin and no pooh it wasn’t overnight!

Here are 5 things that helped changed my skin for real:

1️⃣ I double cleanse. Every! Single! Day!

No sleeping in makeup. No excuses.

2️⃣ Sunscreen is non-negotiable. My melanin is a blessing 🤏🏾💪🏾 however not protection from sun damage.

3️⃣ I stopped being a product junkie. (Just skin care because perfumes and fashion is a different story 🥴

Just because it worked for “her” doesn’t mean it’s for you. Stick to a plan.

4️⃣ Routine facials! Skincare and self-care goes hand an hand!

5️⃣ I cleaned up what I was drinking. Y’all know I use to love a good Polar Pop. But I’m now 2 years pop free. More water, less stress. Mind the business that pays me and my skin thanks me daily!

Clear skin isn’t magic. It’s consistency.

And not just because I’m a licensed esthetician! I genuinely love walking out with my skin being the makeup.

Simple practices like meditation, regular exercise, or hobbies that relax help maintain hormonal balance and overall skin health. Lastly, consistency is truly the secret. Skincare results don’t happen overnight, but patiently following a routine that suits your skin, protecting it from sun damage daily, and avoiding the temptation to constantly switch products will reward you with clearer, radiant skin. Don’t shy away from consulting a skincare professional to customize your routine or address stubborn concerns—the right guidance makes a significant difference.
