DATE NIGHT SUMMER OUTFIT INSPO
California summers have been so hot lately! Reaching around 102 degree temperatures and the last thing I want to do is wear layers of clothes.
Driving to Oakland from where I live is a significant difference in temperature but just right for those warm summer nights.
Here’s a simple chic outfit idea for a summer date night.
THE TOP: One shoulder crop top from Aritzia. Aritzia never disappoints when it comes to crop tops. I feel the cost is reasonable for the quality. I believe it’s around $50.00
THE SKORT: I love a good skort. I don’t have to worry about anything showing. I can be completely comfortable. I love how this one cinches at the waist just a bit, making it super flattering and giving you shape.
THINGS TO CONSIDER:
Comfort: If it’s not comfortable I’m not wearing it, especially during those really warm nights. Consider bringing an extra pair of flats with you, just in case your heels start to hurt your feet. And bandaids for any possible blisters.
The Tones: I’m a neutrals girl forever. You can never go wrong with black, just keep the pieces interesting. I love the one shoulder of the top and how form fitting it is. And love the small cut detail on the front of the skirt.
