Adding more details..
I’m regretting it but loving it at the same time…
I decided this artwork that I created which is huge btw this is just a very small section of it.. needed more. It had already taken days to create so I think by this point I was just done and needed a break.. well I stared at it too long yesterday and realized it was half of what I wanted to do… 😵💫😅🫠
So I’m adding more… can you tell the difference!? Hahaha that’s 2 hours worth of work btw and my hand is already hating me. 🤙🏻
When working on large-scale artwork, it's common to reach a point where initial satisfaction gives way to the desire for more detail and refinement. This artist’s experience captures the push and pull between being proud of what has been achieved and recognizing that the piece still needs further work. Adding details to a finished section, even after days of labor, can breathe new life into the artwork and elevate its impact. Pain and hand fatigue are common challenges during extended creative sessions involving fine detail work. Taking short breaks helps maintain endurance and avoid injury while preserving artistic flow. Also, stepping back periodically to view the artwork with fresh eyes can reveal areas that benefit most from additional enhancements. This approach emphasizes that creativity is an evolving journey rather than a fixed destination. Artists often find themselves revisiting parts of their work to fulfill their vision more completely. Embracing this iterative process leads to more expressive and authentic results. For artists struggling with motivation after long hours, try breaking the task into smaller phases or setting clear mini-goals. Celebrate each addition or improvement as a victory to maintain enthusiasm. Ultimately, sharing your progression and reflections, like in this post, can inspire others to embrace imperfection and growth within their own creative paths.

I love it 🥰❤️
