Holiday Cookies 🍪 (+recipes✨)
What are you favorite Holiday cookies!? 🍪❤️🥰
My grandmother has over 40 different cookie types she bakes each year for our family Christmas party! 🤶 🌲 🎅 🎄 We all look forward to her cookies!
Well I decided to also do cookies tins to give out! ❤️
Peppermint bars-
White Chocolate, coconut oil, sweet condensed milk candy canes (crushed)
(Tbsp of coconut oil in pan, melt chocolate (whole bag or 18 oz) add in condensed milk (14 oz-1can), pour into glass sprayed pan. Add the crunched peppermint to the top! Chill in refrigerator. ✔️
Almond cookies-
2/3 cups shortening. 1/2 t vanilla, 3 to 4 T milk, 1 1/2 t baking powder, 2t grated orange peel (optional), 3/4 c sugar, 1 egg, 2 c flour, 1/4t salt, sliced almonds, 3T maple syrup.
350 degrees (until barley brown) 10 mins Super yummy crunchy cookie! 🤤 Amazing with coffee in the morning!
Butterscotch cookies-
1/2 c butter or margarine softened
1/2 c crisco
1c sugar
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 all purpose flour
1t cream of tartar
1/2 t baking soda
1/4t salt
1/2 butterscotch chips
Cream margarine, crisco, and sugar together til light and fluffy, beat in eggs and vanilla. Seperate bowl for rest of dry ingredients, mix. Then add dry ingredients mixture slowly to creamed mixture. Add in chips last.
400 degrees, 8-10 mins.
-Snowball cookies
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
½ cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup very finely chopped pecans
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup confectioners' sugar, or more as needed (roll cookies in it)
350 for 12 to 15 mins
-Chocolate chunk cookies!
1 1/4 c butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 t baking soda (I also used a pinch of baking powder cause I was running low on baking soda)
1c chopped nuts
2 c sugar
2t vanilla
3/4 c hersheys cocoa
1/2 t salt
White& milk chocolate chips
350 degrees (8 to 10 mins)
📝 I always cream the butter/margarine/sugar first, beat in eggs vanilla, add the dry in.
