Your favorite Japanese sandos just got even better. For $12, you can add a bump of caviar to egg sando. Cause adding eggs to more eggs, why not??? 🥚

If you’re like me, you’ve probably noticed that Japanese sandos have taken over Denver and unfortunately I’m here to confirm that they’re 100% worth the hype. The shokupan (milk bread) is good enough to eat on its own, and you can buy a loaf at @eloisednvr or (if there’s a line) their @konbinipopup next door.

And for my Denver girlies on the hunt for the best Caesar wrap… let me put you onto the best Caesar sandwich instead, because this one is unreal. The parma pile alone would get me to come back.

But my personal favorite has to be the spicy pork sando. The spicy slaw with pickled jalapeños cuts perfectly through the richness of the pork. No notes 🤧

Currently, this has my vote for best sandwich spot in Denver🤞🥪 it’s worth waiting in line for, trust.

... Read moreJapanese-style sandwiches or sandos have truly become a culinary sensation in Denver, blending traditional Japanese flavors with local culinary creativity. From my experience, what sets these Japanese sandos apart is their use of shokupan, a soft, fluffy milk bread that adds a delicate sweetness and a pillowy texture that perfectly complements the fillings. For those seeking a little extra indulgence, the option to add caviar on the egg sando takes this classic comfort food to new heights, creating a luxurious balance of creamy egg and salty pearls. I’ve observed that the best places offering these delights, such as Eloise on Tennyson, not only serve exceptional sandwiches but even sell their shokupan bread separately—so you can bring home the bakery’s signature softness. A friendly tip: bringing patience is key as lines form quickly but are definitely worth it. In addition to the egg and caviar combination, the spicy pork sando stands out as a personal favorite. The spicy slaw paired with pickled jalapeños cuts through the richness with a fresh, tangy crunch that lingers long after the last bite. It’s the kind of flavor profile that makes you appreciate the thoughtfulness behind each ingredient. For those usually hunting the best Caesar wrap, I highly recommend trying the Caesar sandwich here—the generous amount of parma ham adds a savory punch that keeps you coming back for more. This spot’s dedication to quality and inventive combinations has earned my vote for the best sandwich destination in Denver. If you’re exploring the #denverfoodscene or looking for top Denver sandwiches, Japanese sandos offer a wonderful fusion experience that’s both comforting and elevated. Whether you’re adventurous with caviar toppings or crave bold spicy pork, these sandwiches deliver memorable taste and texture that redefine casual dining in Denver.
