✨ Tip 1: Don’t wear any tight styles

How it helped me: I don’t go to bed HURTING and don’t have to worry about maintaining the look. A simple retwist will do.

✨ Tip 2: Pack a sleep sleeve

How it helped me: Not to be dramatic, but this saved my life. I don’t have to worry about my locks being every which way in the evening because I have a sleeve to put it in.

✨ Tip 3: Let them FLOW

How it helped me: Having my locs just down and flowing helped me stay cool in the hottest temperatures of Belize and warm in the winters of Alaska. It also again didn’t put too much unneeded stress on my hair and I could just forget about it and go.

Remember to carry a travel-sized spray bottle with water and essential oils; it's a quick fix to refresh your locs throughout the day. Maintaining a consistent hair care routine, even while traveling, can ensure your locs stay healthy and beautiful. Finally, don't forget to share your experiences and tips for loc care with your travel companions, as this can spark discussions that promote bonding and learning!
