EXPOSING MY NOTES APP (internal glow up edition)

I use my notes app on my phone constantly! Here are a few of the ways I use it:

- creating to-do lists

- jotting down reminders

- keeping note of things I learn in podcasts, books or youtube videos

- brainstorming for my youtube channel

- brain dumping my thoughts

- time blocking my day

- and sooo much more

It’s the perfect place for me to keep all my thoughts, feelings, and ideas. In this post, I screenshotted the notes relating to having an inner glow up. I hope some of the tips are helpful!!

... Read moreHey everyone! You know how much I rave about using my Notes app for practically everything, right? It's seriously become my digital brain, helping me keep all my thoughts, plans, and inspirations neatly organized. If you're looking to turn your Apple Notes into a powerful tool for daily life organization and a genuine personal glow up, you're in the right place. I’ve refined my own system over time, and I truly believe these tips can make a huge difference in how you manage your routine and boost your well-being. First off, structuring your notes is key. Think of your Notes app not just as random scribbles, but as a filing cabinet for your life. I create dedicated folders for different areas. For instance, I have a "Wellness & Self-Care" folder where I keep notes like "Self care to try," which includes a checklist of things I want to incorporate, from dry brushing to trying a new lip mask. Another folder might be "Daily Routines & Planning," which houses my detailed "daily schedule" notes, helping me time-block my day from my morning skincare to my evening wind-down. Don't forget to use subfolders if you have many related topics! Pinning your most important notes, like your "Daily Gratitude" checklist or your current "top 10 wellness habits," right to the top of a folder makes them super accessible for quick check-ins. Next, let's talk about building powerful personal routines within your notes. The checklist feature in Apple Notes is an absolute game-changer. For my "Daily Gratitude" practice, I have a simple checklist: Meditate, Exercise, Devotions. Ticking these off daily gives me a sense of accomplishment and ensures I’m nurturing my mind, body, and spirit. For things like "romanticizing alone time," I have a note filled with ideas: solo travel planning, new journaling prompts, or self-love practices to try. This way, when I have free time, I don't just scroll aimlessly; I have a curated list of enriching activities right at my fingertips. I even have a separate note for "Running tips" that helps me stay consistent with my fitness goals, outlining warm-ups and strategies for building endurance. Beyond just lists, I also use my Notes app for deeper personal development. Creating a note dedicated to "Motivational quotes" (as seen in my phone's screenshots) is a fantastic way to keep inspiration close. Whenever I come across a quote that resonates, it goes straight in there. It’s a wonderful resource to tap into during moments of doubt or when I need a little push. For mental wellness, I find the "Mindfulness tools" note invaluable. This is where I jot down specifics like a "Temperature check" – a quick mental scan of how I'm feeling – or exercises like "Start, stop, continue" for reflecting on habits. It’s almost like having a mini-therapist in my pocket! And of course, having a designated note for "brain dumping" my thoughts at the end of a busy day is incredibly therapeutic, clearing my mind for a peaceful night's sleep. So, if you’re looking to truly elevate your daily life and foster an inner glow up, give these Apple Notes organization strategies a try. Start small, perhaps by creating one folder for your self-care notes or a checklist for your morning routine. You'll be amazed at how quickly this simple app can become an indispensable part of your personal wellness and productivity system. It's all about making your tech work for you to create a more intentional and fulfilling life!
