TTC after an unplanned pregnancy
Trying to conceive is an exciting time. For me, it’s exciting and simultaneously the weirdest time of my life. I had an unplanned pregnancy in my early twenties and now have a beautiful nearly 4 year old. I haven’t been on birth control since I was a teen and (mostly LOL) successfully practiced natural birth control by tracking my cycles. Since having my first baby, I’ve gone back to natural birth control and successfully avoided pregnancy for almost 4 years. My husband and I have decided it’s time to expand our family to give our kiddo a sibling.
I’ve spent most of my adult life trying to avoid pregnancy. Now on our first cycle of TTC, every little thing that happens I think “is this a pregnancy symptom?” And it’s exciting and so strange all at the same time. Who else is trying for a baby in 2024?! #tryingtoconceive #embracevulnerability #Lemon8Diary #ttc #momlife
Trying to conceive (TTC) can be a thrilling yet anxiety-inducing experience, especially after an unplanned pregnancy. Many women find that their emotions can fluctuate between excitement and apprehension as they prepare for a new chapter in their lives. It’s essential to have a support system during this time—whether that means connecting with friends, joining online forums, or speaking with healthcare providers about any concerns related to fertility. When attempting to conceive after an unplanned pregnancy, it's crucial to monitor your menstrual cycle accurately, as this will help identify your fertile window. Many people rely on natural methods, such as the fertility awareness method, which involves tracking changes in body temperature and cervical mucus. There are also various fertility apps available that can aid in tracking cycles and providing insights. Additionally, consider discussing your plans with a healthcare provider. They can assist in assessing your health, offering personalized advice, and addressing any potential risks tied to previous pregnancies. Stress management techniques, such as mindfulness and yoga, can also play a vital role in maintaining emotional balance during the TTC journey. Remember, each person's experience is unique, and it's perfectly fine to seek out help and guidance as you navigate this exciting time!

wishing you all the baby dust! My hubby and I set a goal of adding to our family this year and we're blessed just 3 days ago with a positive. Best wishes ❤️
