Face Your Fears- Your children are watching

This bridge gets me every time we go over it. It never gets old. I’m all about facing fears in this season of life. My oldest is afraid of heights like me. So if I show him that I’m working on something that causes fear but doesn’t control me he will slowly doing the same. We are our kids first example of all things. So go out and live life In Jesus name. The Bible say fear hath torment. Be tormented no more in JESUS NAME 🙏🏽😊

... Read moreOvercoming fear is essential, especially for parents who want to set a positive example for their children. Teaching kids how to manage their fears not only helps them grow into resilient adults but also fosters a strong connection within the family. You can start this journey by sharing stories of your own fears, showing them that it's normal to feel afraid but also important to confront those feelings. Incorporating faith can bolster this process. Many find comfort and strength through prayer and scripture. For instance, affirmations like "God is with us, so we shall not fear" can create a supportive environment. Encourage family activities that gently challenge fears, like climbing a hill or visiting a bridge, reinforcing the idea that fears can be tackled together. Remember, your response to fear influences how your children perceive and handle fear in their lives. Showing persistence and relying on faith not only nurtures personal growth but also strengthens family bonds as you face challenges as a unit. By building this foundation, you empower them to step out of their comfort zones and embrace life's adventures with courage.
