... Read moreOkay, beauty lovers, let's talk about the absolute goldmine that is Marshalls for body oils and shimmers! I know I just shared my love for that Pearl Essence shimmer (seriously, the coconut cream scent is divine and perfect for layering perfume!), but I’ve been on a mission to explore even more sparkling finds. It’s like a treasure hunt every time, and I wanted to dive deeper into some of the other popular picks I’ve spotted and tried.
First up, let's chat about Beauty Concepts Shimmer Body Oil. This brand pops up a lot at Marshalls, and for good reason. Their shimmer oils are often nourishing and truly illuminating, giving that beautiful, subtle glow without feeling sticky. I've seen a few different variations, some with a finer shimmer and others with more noticeable flecks, so there's usually something for everyone. They tend to have a lighter texture, which is great for warmer weather or if you prefer a less heavy feel. I’ve found that these are fantastic if you want to add a touch of radiance to your legs or décolletage for a night out or even just to feel a bit more glamorous during the day.
Then there's the much-talked-about Bubble Beauty Vanilla Blush Shimmer Body Oil. If you’re into sweet, comforting scents, this one is a must-try. The vanilla blush scent is exactly what it sounds like – a warm, slightly floral vanilla that lingers beautifully. It's a gorgeous option for those who love a dessert-like fragrance with their shimmer. The glow it provides is usually quite pretty, a soft, ethereal sheen rather than an overpowering glitter bomb. It feels luxurious and moisturizing, leaving my skin feeling soft and looking radiant.
And for those who appreciate a more earthy or sophisticated vibe, keep an eye out for Sand and Fog Illuminating Body Oil. This brand often impresses with its unique scent profiles and elegant packaging. Their illuminating oils tend to offer a more refined shimmer, often feeling quite luxurious on the skin. I’ve noticed they can be incredibly hydrating, which is a huge plus if you have dry skin but still want that luminous finish. If you’re wondering “which one is better?” among these, it really boils down to your preference for scent and shimmer intensity. Pearl Essence, for example, might be your go-to for a delicious, fruity-floral experience, while Bubble Beauty caters to vanilla lovers. Sand and Fog often delivers a more spa-like, subtle glow.
Lastly, let’s not forget about Luv Soak. While they're known for bath products, sometimes you can find their body oils or glow-enhancing items at Marshalls too! These are often focused on providing a relaxing, self-care experience, so if you stumble upon a Luv Soak body oil, it’s probably designed to soothe and hydrate while giving a gentle sheen. The price point for all these Marshalls finds is usually incredible – you’re getting quality shimmer and body oils for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere. It’s why I love hunting for these gems!
When I’m trying to decide “which one is better?” for my current needs, I consider a few things: Do I want a strong shimmer or a subtle glow? What kind of scent am I craving today – the tropical coconut cream, a sweet vanilla blush, or something more natural like a rose-infused or fruit-scented hydrating glow oil? And how much hydration do I need? The beauty of Marshalls is you can often find different options to suit every mood and occasion, from that nourishing, pearlescent body shimmer with a dropper to a shimmery fragrance mist for a quick refresh. Happy glowing, everyone!
I love these types of oils - Luvsoak sticky rice smells so good but I can’t decide if the dry down is a bit sour on my skin (would be typical for anything milky 😩) I wish it stayed like the initial scent! Ciroa vanilicous and Body Prescriptions Brazil nut are also good!
