Tired of looking for a job

Any other full time WFH mom/ wives here feeling like a failure?

So I just recently applied to what would have been my dream Executive Assistant REMOTE position and I got through to the second step of the hiring process just to receive an email that they decided to move forward without me. 😣

I had spent countless hrs researching and dedicating time to this that I started to feel sorry for (low key) ignoring my son.

As someone who has been in the support industry for 12+ years, I really had to sit with the question of whether I’m a good enough professional. Has my time here ended or do I need to improve my skills?

I know my identity isn’t in my job, but it’s eating at my self-worth. I’m so mad at myself for not coming through for my family.

I feel really defeated by this,I feel like a failure,my kid’s looking at me to buy them stuff so I promise d them once I get a job I’ll buy what they want,my husband on the other hand thinks that I don’t want to work that I just want to stay at home doing nothing.It’s really getting to me
