Juvia’s Place Blush Review

Comparing the Juvia’s Place Blushed Liquid Blush and their Blushed Liquid Blushlighter!

I love the blushlighter more because it’s more of a natural, dewy look with such a pretty glow! The shimmer in the product is very minimal and natural.

Don’t get me wrong but their og liquid blush is awesome too! Super pigmented, a little goes a long way.

Both blend like a dream and last all day as I expected from a Juvia’s place product 🥰

... Read moreAfter trying both Juvia's Place Blushed Liquid Blush and their Blushed Liquid Blushlighter, I have so many more tips to share! These blushes have truly earned a permanent spot in my makeup bag. Let's talk more about the original Blushed Liquid Blush, specifically the gorgeous 'Peach Rose' shade. As the article mentioned, it's incredibly pigmented. A tiny dot is all you need, especially if you're going for an everyday look. I've found the best way to apply this 'highly pigmented coral blush' is to dab a small amount onto the back of your hand first, then pick it up with a damp beauty sponge or a dense blush brush. This helps distribute the color evenly and prevents an overly intense payoff initially. For a more bold, 'seductress queen' kind of vibe, you can build it up slightly, focusing on the apples of your cheeks and sweeping it upwards towards your temples for a lifted, dramatic effect. It truly pops on a wide range of skin tones, adding a vibrant flush that lasts all day. For deeper complexions, this pigmentation is a game-changer – no more struggling to find a blush that actually shows up! Now, for the Blushed Liquid Blushlighter, especially the 'Rosey Posey Glow' shade – it's my secret weapon for that 'glowy, dewy finish.' While it's perfect on its own for a natural sheen, I sometimes layer it over a matte blush (either powder or another liquid blush) to add an extra dimension of glow without looking glittery. The 'shimmery pink blush' provides such a subtle, radiant effect. If you want to elevate your look from everyday dewy to 'queenly' glow, try applying a little extra on the high points of your cheekbones, almost like a liquid highlighter. It catches the light beautifully and makes your skin look incredibly healthy and hydrated. For those who love a full glam, this can be the perfect base for a powder highlight, ensuring your glow is visible from across the room. I've also experimented with blending techniques. For both blushes, I always start with a very small amount. Fingers work well for a natural, diffused look, as the warmth of your skin helps melt the product in. However, for more precision or for blending over foundation, a stippling brush or a damp sponge gives a seamless finish. To ensure longevity, especially with the intense pigmentation of the liquid blush, I like to set my entire face with a light mist of setting spray after applying all my cream products. This locks everything in place, so your 'Peach Rose' flush or 'Rosey Posey' glow stays vibrant from morning till night. These Juvia's Place products are truly versatile. Whether you're aiming for a subtle kiss of color or a bold, statement cheek, they deliver. And knowing they blend like a dream and last all day makes them even more of a staple in my routine for creating any look I desire.
