what i eat to lose weight! 🍋🌸
my goal is to lose fat and gain muscle simultaneously so i eat in a deficit while eating a lot of protein!
Hey everyone! I'm so excited to share more about my journey of losing fat and gaining muscle simultaneously. It's been a game-changer for my energy levels and overall strength, and it all comes down to what I put on my plate. My main focus has been consistently hitting around 140g protein each day while staying in a slight calorie deficit, and I've successfully dropped 20lbs! I truly believe that knowing what I eat in a day is key to understanding how I make progress without feeling deprived. My mornings often kick off with a protein-packed meal to set the tone for the day. You saw those delicious fried eggs and sausage links – that’s a typical breakfast for me. It’s so satisfying and keeps me full until my next meal. And of course, my morning isn't complete without my iced coffee! I love making it with vanilla oat milk and a hint of sweet cream creamer. It's a little treat that fits perfectly into my plan. I also make sure to take my daily synbiotic supplement to support my gut health, which I've found makes a huge difference in how I feel. Throughout the day, I prioritize smart snacking. I always keep some high-protein options on hand to avoid hitting that afternoon slump or reaching for unhealthy choices. Believe it or not, snacks like nacho cheese flavored protein chips are a lifesaver – they give me that savory crunch I crave with a solid 18g of protein! And for a quick, on-the-go option, a jalapeño beef stick is fantastic. It’s got 10g of protein, only 100 calories, and zero sugar, making it an excellent choice for curbing hunger between meals. Lunch and dinner are all about creating balanced, satisfying meals. I love a hearty baked potato generously topped with seasoned ground meat, shredded cheese, and fresh lettuce. It feels indulgent but is packed with nutrients. Another one of my go-to dinners is a bowl of fluffy quinoa topped with perfectly cooked chicken breast, diced red vegetables, and tangy pickled red onions. It’s vibrant, delicious, and an amazing source of lean protein and complex carbs. These meals prove that eating for fat loss and muscle gain doesn't have to be boring or restrictive. It's about making smart choices, enjoying your food, and staying consistent with your goals!
