Seattle through my eyes—city views, waterfront sails, and hidden gems. ✨🏙️⛵️ From the iconic Space Needle to cozy food spots and peaceful parks, this city has a little bit of everything. If Seattle isn’t on your travel list yet, it should be!

(last photo the city at night 🤩🤩🤩) 🌃

Seattle is one of those places that just feels different. One moment, you’re surrounded by city lights and the next, you’re by the water watching sailboats drift by. The food scene? Incredible. The parks? Peaceful. And don’t even get me started on the views! Whether you’re here for the skyline, the coffee, or the coastal vibes, there’s something about Seattle that makes you want to stay a little longer. Who else has this city on their bucket list? 📍 Pier 56 Elliots Oyster House Space Needle Gas Works Park Golden Gardens Park Piroshky Piroshky | Pike Place Market Wing Dome #seattle #pikeplacemarket #exploreseattle #pacificnorthwest #seattletravel

Pike Place Market

... Read moreSo, you've seen my snapshot of Seattle, but let me share a bit more about how to truly experience this incredible city! Beyond the stunning skyline and sparkling water, there are so many layers to uncover that make Seattle truly unique. First, let's talk about Pike Place Market. It's more than just a market; it's a vibrant hub of activity. While Piroshky Piroshky (I can still taste those delicious pastries!) is a must-try for a quick bite, don't rush through. Spend time wandering through the stalls, watching the famous fishmongers toss their catch, and sampling local produce. I always grab a fresh coffee and just soak in the atmosphere. It's a feast for the senses! And if you're looking for another local favorite for a different kind of flavor, don't miss Wing Dome for some amazing wings, which you might have spotted in some city views. For some waterfront wonders and dining, Pier 56 is fantastic. Elliots Oyster House is a classic for a reason – imagine enjoying fresh oysters with an incredible view of the Puget Sound, watching those majestic sailboats glide by, just like the one in my photos with the Space Needle in the background! After a delicious meal, a leisurely stroll along the waterfront is perfect, especially as the city lights begin to twinkle and reflect on the calm water. When it comes to iconic landmarks, the Space Needle is an obvious choice, but it truly delivers panoramic views that are worth every moment. My personal tip? Try to go around sunset! You get to see the city in daylight, bathed in golden hour hues, and then spectacularly lit up at night – a truly magical experience. For a completely different perspective, Gas Works Park, with its unique rusty industrial structures, offers some of the best skyline views across Lake Union. It's fascinating to see how nature has reclaimed these old structures, now heavily covered in green ivy, creating a blend of history and natural beauty. And if you're craving a serene escape, Golden Gardens Park is lovely for a beach walk and catching a sunset – much like that peaceful pond reflecting the sky. Finally, for some practical tips: Seattle is quite walkable in many areas, but I found public transport (buses, Link light rail) super convenient for longer distances. If you're planning a trip, late spring to early fall (May-September) generally offers the best weather for exploring. While Seattle has a reputation for rain, those summer days are absolutely glorious and perfect for enjoying the outdoor beauty. It's truly a city that captures your heart, whether you're admiring the urban landscape or finding tranquility by the water. I hope these extra tips help you discover your own Seattle magic!
