My Pregnancy Journey

I first found out I was pregnant really late into my pregnancy!

I was 22 1/2 weeks when i got my first ultrasound

I didn’t show until my last 2 months of pregnancy!

I never had any symptoms and the biggest question I get asked is “your period wasn’t late?”

I haven’t had my period for about 4 years now due to health issues so I initially thought I wouldn’t be able to get pregnant!

My daughter Emersyn was born at 35 weeks

she was 6 1/2 lbs and 19 inches long!

She is so so perfect and was healthy at birth!

I am not with her dad anymore so I am a single mom and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

For many, such late realizations can stem from hormonal health issues or the absence of regular cycles. It’s important to understand that even with health challenges, pregnancy is still possible. My daughter was born at 35 weeks, highlighting how early births can still lead to healthy outcomes. Women experiencing similar situations should seek guidance from health professionals and connect with communities such as #youngmom and #pregnancydiaries, sharing experiences to support each other. Additionally, adjusting to life as a single mother after such a journey can be transformative, and embracing each moment becomes vital. Remember, every pregnancy story is unique, and connecting with others can provide valuable insights into navigating this beautiful yet challenging path.
