I will not apologize for my audhd

I release myself from apologizing for my disability in my own workspace. If someone works in my company on my project for my creativity, it is their responsibility to fill in where i am deficient.

It is their responsibility to refuse that work if they are unable to do it.

Thats literally the only reason for me to have someone around. Commission, retainer, it doesn’t matter.

If you’re not going to make my disabled reality better for me, why are you here? To make ME feel bad? lol pls be 4real

... Read moreLiving with AUDHD (Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD) means navigating a unique set of challenges and strengths, especially in creative and professional environments. It's empowering to acknowledge that one's disabled reality is valid and not something to apologize for. When working collaboratively, it's crucial that team members recognize their role in supporting areas where the individual might face difficulties, rather than expecting them to conform to traditional expectations without accommodations. In creative projects, understanding and flexibility from collaborators foster an inclusive and productive workspace. If a team member feels unable to support or adapt to these needs, it's more beneficial for both parties to openly communicate and allow for a better fit elsewhere rather than compromising the creator's authentic process. This mindset encourages a culture of respect and acknowledgement, ensuring that people with disabilities like AUDHD can thrive without feeling pressured to mask or apologize for their experiences. Ultimately, building a workspace that respects and enhances the disabled reality leads to better creativity, mental well-being, and workplace harmony. It’s not about burdening others but about creating an environment where everyone’s contributions and challenges are valued.

Things that actually help with AuDHD burnout (from an AuDHD therapist)
AuDHD burnout isn’t just being tired. It’s a full-system depletion that affects energy, emotions, sensory tolerance, and executive functioning all at once. And for many women, it builds slowly over months of pushing through, masking, and managing more than your nervous system was designed to hold.

The Audacity of AuDHD
As a licensed therapist, I see this misunderstood all the time. AuDHD shutdown isn’t avoidance. And it’s definitely not a lack of motivation. It’s what happens when your nervous system says: “I’ve had enough.” For individuals with both ADHD and autism (AuDHD), the brain is constantly navigatin

TIME BLINDNESS (AuDHD Edition)
We don’t lose time, time loses us. For AuDHD minds, time isn’t linear it’s emotional. It speeds up, slows down, disappears, or overwhelms. It’s not mismanagement — it’s a nervous system translation issue. When the world tells us to “just be on time,” it misses the truth: our sense of time
