Pining ceremony
🤍 My Story:I’ve been in my undergrad degree for 6 years and in nursing school for 3! I had to repeat a class because i was unsuccessfully 0.4 of a point and my program only offers classes once a year. I was devastated. On top of all the things i had going on in my personal life i reallyHad to lean heavily on my faith and my good good God to get me through!
🤍 How I Felt: HARD! I never struggled in school so going to nursing school and struggling hurt so bad. I changed study habits, and figured out what softwares worked for me. I got into therapy for all my trauma and learned to work through my triggers and really dig deep into my hurting. My aunt passed, my grandmom(my favorite person in the world) passed. My dad went missing and when found was in the ICU…. So yes it was hard but through it all God was good.
🤍 My Takeaways: I am now a first generation college grad and the second nurse in my family. I graduated with honors and was inducted in the honors nursing society. Overall, I learned that it is GOD’s timing and not my own. He made me so much stronger and really taught me what it meant to trust in Him and relinquish my need for control.
When I did that and learned to trust Him I was way more successful with all I put my mind and spirit into!
