HAIR SWITCH UP :

Bleach is so expensive and damaging even as a natural blonde. When you age and have children your body and hormones change and my roots are getting darker. My hair is almost to my butt and I just need to clean it up with some movement and volume , and just go natural completely with the hair for it to be healthy. I use to love lash clusters and the glue actually hasn’t been good for my lashes so I researched some lash serums and found that more people found the forchics eyelash serum to work the best and to get the thrive causemetics mascara in brown for my natural features instead of harsh black.

SKINCARE:

Medicube and Anua skincare brand has been off the charts amazing .

WEIGHT-LOSS & SKIN :

Nello has ashawaganda to help you focus and other ingredients to help you lose weight healthy by making you have a better metabolism with natural ingredients , Thryv UVBites help you be tan and has watermelon in it and natural ingredients to make you tan even if you’re not in the sun in the form of a gummy , the Mary Ruth’s organic lymphatic support drops help debloat you and depuff you completely .

ORAL HYGIENE:

Thera breath helps with bad breath , tonsil stones , anything with a lot of bacteria . Water flosser as don’t irritate your gums like regular floss does. Having an electric toothbrush is less harsh than a natural one , tongue scrapers take off the residue that looks like plaque and bacteria from food and beverages. These specific whitening strips have natural ingredients without making your teeth more sensitive and don’t have bleach in them. Guru Nanda you can find at Ulta , Target , tik tok shop , and Amazon. Medicube I’ve only seen on tik tok shop and Amazon . forchics eyelash serum I found at target and Amazon , I’m pretty sure the supplements you can also find in all of those places as well .

If you choose to bleach your hair keep in mind of your hair color , how much time you have to style it , how much heat you put on it , the money aspect of it because it’s expensive and damaging. Even if you are a natural blonde be careful . If you’re not and have dark hair go to a real professional or blonding specialist that will be real with you about what will happen to your hair. Especially if you are a natural blonde who went dark and wants to go back blonde or vice versa , look into it first don’t make decisions with bleach on an impulse . I’ve seen so many people lose their hair and had issues with getting their natural hair color back . Be careful!

... Read moreMy journey to embracing a beautiful 90s bronde shade with those iconic 90s layers has been incredibly transformative, especially after years of struggling with bleach damage. If you're considering a similar switch from blonde or even darker hair, let me share some deeper insights from my experience, combining my personal journey with what I know from my cosmetologist background. First off, achieving that perfect 90s bronde isn't just about picking a color; it's about a strategy. For me, coming from a natural blonde base that was getting darker, it was about gradually deepening my roots and adding warmer, dimensional lowlights. This avoids the harsh regrowth line of traditional highlights and blends beautifully as your natural color grows out. I opted for a root smudge or shadow root technique which helped create a softer transition and made the maintenance so much easier. It's a game-changer for extending salon visits and keeping hair healthier. And those 90s layers? Absolutely essential for the bronde look! They instantly add movement and volume, especially around the face, giving that effortlessly chic vibe. When I asked for my layers, I specifically discussed face-framing pieces that would complement my features and blend seamlessly into the longer lengths. This isn't just about cutting; it's about shaping the hair to enhance its natural texture and flow, which was crucial for me as I focused on going natural. It perfectly complemented my goal of cleaning up my long hair and adding life back into it without excessive styling. For anyone who's been bleaching their hair, transitioning to bronde can be your hair's best friend. It allows you to introduce warmer tones and darker depths without the harshness of bleach, giving your strands a much-needed break. I've seen so many clients, and personally experienced, how going for a lower-maintenance color like bronde can drastically improve hair health, reduce breakage, and bring back a natural shine. My cosmetologist self would always advise focusing on the integrity of the hair first. After the color transformation, maintaining that healthy, vibrant bronde and keeping those 90s layers looking fresh requires a little care. Invest in a good color-safe shampoo and conditioner – preferably sulfate-free – to prevent fading. Weekly hair masks are a must for hydration and strength, especially if you're recovering from previous chemical treatments. And always, always use a heat protectant if you're styling, even with limited heat. Embracing air-drying more often and using gentle hair ties can also make a huge difference in preventing further damage. This transition has truly been life-changing for my hair's health and my routine!
