One of the WORST feelings is to see the scale go up 2-5lbs overnight!! 😤🤯🖕

The scale spiking up randomly…doesn’t mean you gained a ton of fat overnight or lost all of your progress! ❌

It just means you ate more sodium/carbs than usual,

You ate a bigger/later mean than usual,

You weighed yourself earlier than usual,

You had a hard workout the day before,

You’re on your period,

You’re on a specific medication,

You’re stressed or sleep deprived,

Or you haven’t dropped that dokie yet! 🚽

These random scale spikes are meaningless. 💯

And they have nothing to do with you gaining actual body fat.

So even though it’s hard…don’t let them derail you or make you think you’re doing something wrong.

Look at the trendline from a weekly/monthly perspective NOT daily perspective. 📉

And remember that 0.5-1.5lbs of weight loss per week is phenomenal progress. ✅
