Comment “EAT” for my full Eat-Out Guide 🔥
You don’t need to stop eating out to lose weight.
You keep going in with no plan…
Ordering burritos, chimichangas…
adding chips, queso, drinks…
then saying “I’ll get back to it tomorrow.”
That’s the problem.
Not the food.
Not the margaritas.
Not the restaurant.
It’s the approach.
If your approach sucks, your results won’t last.
This is exactly how my clients still eat out, enjoy their favorite foods, and lose 20–40 lbs without feeling restricted.
Save this for your next night out or use this tonight for Cinco de Mayo 🍹
And make sure to follow me if you’re 30+ and want to lose the gut without strict diets, cutting carbs, or missing out on life 🔥

Eating out doesn't have to be the enemy of weight loss, and from my own experience, the key is all about smarter choices rather than deprivation. Instead of skipping your favorite Mexican dishes like tacos or fajitas, I found that swapping high-calorie sides such as chips and queso for more filling, nutrient-dense options can significantly cut calories without feeling like a sacrifice. For instance, starting with salsa instead of queso or guacamole can save hundreds of calories before your main meal even arrives. When ordering, choosing lean proteins like grilled chicken or shrimp on corn tortillas with simple toppings instead of heavy creams and extra cheese cuts down calories and helps keep meals satisfying. Drinks often pack hidden calories, so opting for a skinny margarita over a regular one can easily save 200 to 500 calories per drink — a huge difference when cocktails are part of the fun. Portion control is another game changer; sharing dishes or asking for half portions helps maintain control without feeling restricted. Through these small but impactful adjustments, it’s entirely possible to lose 20 to 40 pounds and still enjoy eating out. The real challenge is having a plan and sticking to it, something that transformed my approach and results. Whether it’s a casual night out or a festive celebration like Cinco de Mayo, keeping these strategies in mind means you get to have your tacos and lose the gut too.
