MY “NO-BUY SPENDING LIST” 2025💳‼️✨
This year I do want to do better with money management, instead of going through with impulse buys that I normally do. 💰
This year is the time for saving and looking at things that will benefit me rather then keeping me in the same position i’m in‼️
✨MY NO BUY LIST EXPLAINED ✨
- TikTok Shop : I have a bad habit of when I see videos with people promoting the different items I just have to buy it.
Note to self (delete TikTok)😂
- SHEIN Items : The fact that SHEIN is affordable and has good quality clothes, my cart just keeps fulling up.
Note to self (delete SHEIN)🥹
- Wigs : I have a big problem when it comes to spending money on wigs especially when I think it’s labeled under a good price
Apple Pay just always seems to work at the right times🥲
- Amazon : I have a bad habit of just ordering random items on Amazon just because it’s next day shipping.
I realized most of the items I got that’s around my room I don’t really use.
- Subscriptions : I always wonder why my card is being charged every month labeled Apple because I forgot to cancel a subscription.😶
- Takeout : I want to start buying more groceries rather then ordering food out for only one plate, when I can just meal prep and have food made or cooked for a week worth of food 🍱
- Room decor : I’m always thinking about how I can make my room more aesthetically pleasing rather then saving my money to move out and have my own space to decorate🧳
- Hair/face products : I don’t want to buy anymore products until I get rid of the items I don’t use and when the bottles are half way empty,
instead of me just buying items and ever finishing them.🫧
- Five below : they have so many nice deals at good prices and cute different pieces but when I come to think about it do I really need it???
Note to self (it’s more of a want rather than a need)✋🏽
- Ulta products : I go to Ulta and pick up makeup items when I rarely even wear makeup 💄 while I’m knowing I don’t need it especially those perfume samples!!🥲
- Credit Card : I want to stop making unnecessary purchases on my card credit that I don’t need unless it’s for a bill or gas I can’t use it!!

Implementing a no-buy challenge can transform your financial habits for the better. This year, I aim to save more by avoiding unnecessary purchases and focusing on needs over wants. Starting with digital distractions like TikTok Shop, which promotes impulsive buys, I am determined to cut back. SHEIN’s appealing prices often lead me to fill my cart without the intention of completing purchases, reflecting on smarter shopping decisions. Wigs, which always seem tempting due to perceived high discounts, also find their way into my budget, but not for long. Ordering random items from Amazon due to convenience can clutter my space, making a solid case for intentional spending. I plan to stay mindful about subscriptions, as recurring payments sneak up easily on me. Meal prepping can eliminate the double expense of takeout and save time. Redefining my space aesthetic is a priority, yet I remind myself it’s essential to save for future goals rather than indulge in decoration for an immediate visual impact. Lastly, it’s time to utilize existing cosmetics and hair products instead of being lured by sales at places like Ulta and Five Below. Re-evaluating my relationship with credit cards will help prioritize necessary expenditures only. With these strategies, my no-buy challenge will be a step towards a healthier financial future and smarter spending habits!

I’m doing a lot of these too! SHEIN and Temu get a lot of my money 🤦🏻♀️ I’m definitely practicing more focused spending this year! For me excess makeup, lip products, coffee cups, tumblers, excess pens. Really just any unnecessary products.
