My 18th Bday Tattoo!! 🥰

💙 I couldn’t decide between any of the boots on instagram or on pinterest, i had been looking at so many different boot designs and they were blurring together..

🩵 I loved how the coquette bows have been looking too recently so i had talked to THE awesome tattoo artist Shyann who designed the absolute cutest boot that i fell in love with 😍, what do y’all think !!?

After all the planning and searching, seeing your vision come to life is truly amazing. I know how overwhelming it can be to sift through countless designs online, trying to find that one perfect piece that speaks to you. It's not just about what looks good; it's about finding something meaningful that you'll love for years to come. If you're an 18-year-old girl thinking about getting inked, here are a few things to consider that I found helpful during my own search for the perfect design. First, think about the meaning behind your tattoo. Is it a symbol of independence, a tribute to a loved one, or simply something that brings you joy? A popular choice for a first tattoo is often something small and personal, placed somewhere easily concealable if needed, but still visible enough for you to admire. Forearms, wrists, ankles, or even behind the ear are common spots for delicate, girly tattoos. For those drawn to specific aesthetics, like the cowboy boot tattoo I chose, there are so many creative directions you can go. A line art cowboy boot with flowers like mine can represent strength, adventure, and femininity all at once. You could add personal touches like birth flowers, initials hidden within the design, or even a specific type of bow, similar to the coquette style. Other popular options include minimalist designs, floral motifs, celestial symbols, or tiny quotes that hold special significance. Don't be afraid to combine elements that resonate with you, just like I blended western imagery with delicate bows and flowers. When it comes to finding *tattoo ideas for your 18th birthday*, Pinterest and Instagram are great starting points, but sometimes it helps to narrow down your focus. Instead of just searching "tattoos," try "delicate floral tattoos," "western-inspired tattoos," or "small meaningful tattoos for women." This can help you refine your aesthetic. Once you have a few ideas, look for artists whose style matches what you envision. A good artist can take your scattered inspirations and turn them into a cohesive, unique piece, just like my artist Shyann did for my custom boot design. Remember, a tattoo is a permanent piece of art on your body, so taking the time to research, consult with artists, and ensure you absolutely love the design is crucial. Don't rush the process! And once you get it, proper aftercare is key to making sure your fresh tattoo heals beautifully. Keep it clean, moisturized, and out of direct sunlight for the first few weeks. It's a journey, from inspiration to the final healing, but it's such a rewarding way to celebrate a new chapter in your life!

Also your tattoo is even better than the inspiration one. Yours is going to age way better! Hope the healing process doesn’t suck!! ❤️

Omg happy birthday that tattoo is GORGEOUS 💕 I also got a sun & moon tattoo at 18 :) ALSO I just ordered my first pair of cowboy boots which doesn’t seem too cool but I’m from NY so I’d be sticking out like a sore thumb 😭❤️
