Today, I'm super excited to dive deep into designing the ultimate Toca Boca house, especially focusing on a killer gaming room! First things first, when I start designing any room, I like to pick a theme. For my gaming room, I wanted something vibrant and cozy. I pictured a space where my characters could really chill, play their favorite games, and sometimes just hang out when they're Not Playing on the screens. Think bold colors like neon greens or blues, paired with comfy textures. Don't be afraid to mix and match! For the main gaming setup, a big screen TV is a must. I usually place it on a long console table with plenty of space underneath for game consoles and maybe some cool accessories. Next, seating! You need comfy chairs or beanbags. I love adding a couple of gaming chairs with cool designs, or even a plush sofa for multiplayer sessions. Remember, comfort is key, especially if your characters are going to be in an intense Focus mode during a game! Lighting can totally transform the vibe. I often use colorful LED strips around the TV or under shelves to give it that futuristic gaming den feel. Small lamps on side tables can add a softer glow for when it's time to unwind. And you can't forget decorations! Posters of favorite game characters, shelves filled with collectibles, and maybe even a mini-fridge stocked with snacks and drinks complete the look. I find that adding personal touches, like unique rugs or wall art, makes the space feel truly custom. Beyond the gaming room, think about how the rest of your Toca Boca house flows. Does it have a cozy bedroom, a functional kitchen, or a creative art studio? Each room should reflect a part of your character's personality. I always try to combine practicality with fun. For example, in the kitchen, I love adding a little coffee station, and in the bedroom, a super soft bed with lots of pillows. One of my favorite tips for house design is to look for inspiration everywhere – real-life rooms, other Toca Boca creations, or even just cool color palettes. Don't be afraid to experiment and rearrange until you find something you absolutely love. Sometimes, the best designs come from happy accidents!
