I’ve found that using cream-based products like cream blush and bronzer really helps to create a natural and dewy finish, especially when blended well with a beauty blender. It’s normal for the cream blush to look harsh at first—you just need to blend up and down the cheekbones slowly until it softens into the skin. Applying bronzer just below the blush and around the middle of the ear adds warmth and subtle contouring. I personally prefer to use cream bronzer because it blends seamlessly and keeps the skin looking fresh instead of matte or powdery. One trick I swear by is setting the face lightly with powder and then immediately going back to conceal and use the excess concealer for other areas. This layering prevents your makeup from becoming cakey and helps maintain a bright under-eye area. For a glowy look, adding highlight on the high points of your face is essential, but be sure to apply powder strategically to define your jawline and brush off the excess right away. This technique helps balance shine and gives your skin a sculpted appearance. I always finish my eye makeup by applying a swipe of brown eyeshadow under the lash line followed by bottom mascara for subtle definition. Lip shaping is another key step—I like to use a lip liner in a darker shade than my lipstick to create depth, followed by lipstick and a touch of gloss for a fuller look. Finally, I set everything with a setting spray like Urban Decay All Nighter. I use the back camera and no filter to check my makeup—it’s important to be patient and kind to yourself because makeup takes practice, and real skin isn’t perfect.
