Hiatus
Apologies for starting this and then vanishing. Life’s been hitting hard. I fell in a manhole, had a car accident the same day my husband had an appendectomy and then my husband got hit by a car when riding his bike to work. It’s been a series of unfortunate events. I’ve not had the mental capacity to create new prompts— everything posted just now was sitting in my drafts.
Taking a break from daily routines due to unforeseen circumstances is more common than we think, and sharing these moments can be incredibly healing. From personal experience, I understand how quickly life can become overwhelming when multiple crises hit simultaneously. For example, dealing with physical injuries from accidents requires not only medical attention but also immense mental resilience. Supporting loved ones through health emergencies adds another layer of emotional strain. In times of hardship, it's important to acknowledge your limits and allow yourself the space to recover. Pursuing small joys, maintaining connection with friends and family, and embracing self-care routines can make a significant difference. Many find that journaling or creative expression helps channel their feelings constructively. Moreover, seeking professional help, whether medical or psychological, should never be overlooked. Life’s unpredictable events teach us the value of patience and compassion—not only towards others but especially towards ourselves. If you find yourself in a similar hiatus, remember that these pauses, though difficult, are temporary phases of growth and healing. Sharing your story or reading about others’ experiences can provide comfort and practical insights. Ultimately, resilience is built through facing challenges head-on, reaching out for support, and nurturing your mental and physical well-being during tough times.

Glad to see your back❤️
