As a beginner in sewing, each completed project brings a unique sense of accomplishment. Lately, I have created various items, such as an American flag rag quilt and cute shorts for my son, which are both practical and enjoyable to make. A crossbody bag crafted from an old hoodie has become my go-to daily bag, showcasing how repurposing materials can lead to sustainable fashion choices. Crafting items like birthday banners with neutral colors ensures they can be reused for different celebrations throughout the year. I've also made adorable mason jar cozies, which add a personal touch to gifts or home decor. With every attempt—no matter how many tries it takes—I grow more confident in my sewing abilities.
