One of the best features of the Sonic collection on Genesis was Sonic 3 & Knuckles, commonly abbreviated as S3DB (Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic 3D Blast). This game pushed the 16-bit hardware to its limits, combining intricate level design with a compelling story. Playing these games today gives me a genuine sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the innovation Sega brought during that time. For anyone who missed out like me, revisiting these classics via retro consoles or emulators is a rewarding experience. The tight controls, catchy soundtracks, and unique gameplay mechanics still hold up well, reminding us why Sega Genesis was a powerhouse in the 90s gaming scene.
