My very first Yule log!🪵 ✨
Don’t critique too harshly. I felt called to make one so this was a very last minute diy.
Sained with moon water, rosemary and dusted with a little cinnamon and dried rosemary. Decorated with symbols of prosperity, abundance and joy.♥️ This was a fun and very peaceful little craft.😌

Incorporating the Yule log tradition into your holiday celebrations can be a delightful experience. Originating from ancient customs, Yule logs are often made from wood that holds a strong symbolic meaning. Many find joy in decorating their logs with elements like fresh herbs, twinkling lights, or even personalized symbols that represent wishes for the new year. Crafting a Yule log isn’t just about the aesthetics; it also serves as a reminder of the warmth of community and the importance of gratitude during the colder months. Use natural materials like cinnamon and rosemary, which are not only aromatic but also believed to bring positive energy and prosperity. Additionally, the inclusion of rituals involving moon water can enhance the spiritual significance of your creation, connecting you to the earth and its cycles. As you embark on this charming craft, consider inviting friends or family to join you. It can transform this individual project into a collaborative celebration, rich in meaning and shared traditions. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, making a Yule log can be both an artistic outlet and a serene moment of reflection during the bustling holiday season. Embrace the creativity and let your Yule log symbolize your hopes and dreams for the year ahead.
