Live in a foreign country for over a month

Last year we lived in Latvia for a few months for the first time to start our overseas basketball

Journey!

This year we are living in Turkey to end the the season and will be back in the states in the summer!

It’s such an amazing experience getting to live in a foreign country and experience different cultures and foods. I can’t wait to see what other countries we will be able to visit!

The beauty of the Baltic nature, along with the warmth of its people, makes it a wonderful place to explore. Now, as we transition to Turkey, we are eager to embrace its diverse landscape and delicious food. Turkey's combination of rich history, beautiful architecture, and various regional cuisines provides a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Engaging with local customs and traditions enhances our understanding of the world and enriches our experiences. Moreover, living abroad can foster personal growth, resilience, and adaptability. It presents opportunities to form connections with people from different backgrounds and forge lifelong friendships. Whether it's participating in local events, learning the language, or simply enjoying the local lifestyle, each moment spent abroad can add depth and color to our lives. As we reflect on these past experiences, we can’t help but look forward to future adventures. The world is filled with amazing places waiting to be discovered, and each country brings its own unique story. Embrace the challenges and rewards of living abroad; it’s a journey worth taking!
