Life Update || Overseas basketball life

Hi friends! Long time no see :)

I haven’t been on here in a little while as life this past month has been busy! With the end of basketball season coming upon us and possibly heading back to the states in a month, I thought I should post a little update of life recently!

We have visited some new places on off day, which recently was the Balat. Tons of lovely places to shop and eat and a nice walk along the water. We also had a great dinner with the other Americans on his team and the food was amazing.

One thing I love for sure about Turkey is everywhere we eat is always perfect. I haven’t had anything yet that was not good.

We celebrated my loves birthday on April 4th as well and enjoyed a beautiful dinner together with an amazing view. The dinner was a premade testing dinner that had a specialized drink with every meal. Three appetizers, 3 different sushi’s to then try, two dinner taste test and then two desserts.

Coming up soon we have only two home games left for the season, my birthday will be coming up as well and of course visiting all our last minute places we have on our list before heading back home.

This first year of overseas professional basketball was definitely one to remember with living in two countries in one year. I absolutely love Turkey so much and I would love if he came back and played here again as I enjoyed it so much.

I definitely will post another life update post for the end of the season, more food post will be coming once I make it back into the states and tons of fitness content as well!

Turkey has captivated me with its stunning scenery, exceptional cuisine, and vibrant culture. In this update, I reflect on the enjoyable places we've explored, including Balat, known for its charming shops and scenic walks along the water. Celebrating special occasions like birthdays has been equally memorable. We indulged in a unique dinner experience with a preset tasting menu, showcasing three appetizers, an assortment of sushi, and delightful desserts—all paired with amazing views. As I eagerly await the last two home games of the season, I find myself planning visits to all the must-see spots on my list. This transition has shaped my view of life overseas, and I would love to return to Turkey to play again—it truly feels like home!
