Oh my goodness, you guys! I can’t believe I’m saying this again, but we’re officially in the thick of another big move to a new country! When I first mentioned it in my latest vlog, I know some of you were surprised – trust me, so were we! This wasn't exactly penciled into our calendar, and it’s definitely thrown a wrench into my usual filming routine, but I felt it was super important to bring you all along for the ride. Moving abroad, especially when it's unexpected, is such a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I'm excitedly looking at potential apartments, and the next, I'm staring at a huge stack of clothes wondering how on earth everything will fit into our suitcases. You see those perfectly curated moving vlogs, and then there's the reality: the endless packing tape, the mountains of boxes, and the constant decision-making about what to keep, donate, or toss. It's truly a test of patience and organization! I think that's why moving vlogs resonate so much with people, isn't it? It’s not always about the glamorous travel or the exotic new experiences initially. It's about witnessing the raw, unfiltered journey – the struggles, the laughter, the unexpected hiccups, and the genuine moments of fear and excitement. When I share these updates, whether it's a quick peek at our half-packed living room or a moment of pure exhaustion after a long day of planning, I hope it feels relatable. We're all navigating life's big changes, and seeing someone else go through it, even just on screen, can be incredibly comforting or inspiring. For anyone out there dreaming of relocating or even just tackling a big life change, remember that it's okay for things not to go exactly as planned. My best advice for an international move? Start decluttering way before you think you need to. Seriously, I wish I'd culled more! And embrace the chaos a little. It’s all part of the adventure.
