Monday!

Mondays are often filled with anticipation and excitement, especially for students at the University of Rhode Island. Starting the day early, I engaged in some stretching exercises that energized me for the schedule ahead. Breakfast is crucial, and I made sure to prioritize it today! After some morning journaling, I attended my first class, using the extra time beforehand to work on my genetics study guide. The highlight of the day was walking to support a friend defending her PhD, a memorable moment celebrating achievements in academia. After classes, I enjoyed the gorgeous sunset with friends, capturing the beauty of the evening. Instead of diving straight into work, we relished the moment of tranquility. Winding down the day with some delicious vegetarian meals and indulging in a favorite show, Criminal Minds, was the perfect way to prepare for the holiday ahead. These simple pleasures are invaluable, reminding us to embrace vulnerability and maintain a healthy lifestyle amidst the college hustle. It's important to cherish every moment; whether it's socializing with friends or enjoying personal time, balancing academics and life is key to a fulfilling experience!
