My Productive Morning Routine!✨
A producitve morning in my life! Still debating whether I should start calling these “Vlogmas” or keep them as “morning in my life” videos!
I absolutely love my morning routine and have worked for years to perfect it! I also like to change it up with the seasons - like how I walk outside when it’s warmer out vs using the treadmill when it’s colder!
I feel it really just helps me start my day out on the right foot and puts me in such a good mood✨

It's amazing how a strong morning routine can set the tone for your entire day, right? Building on that perfect start, I've learned that maintaining that 'productive day routine' momentum requires a little extra thought beyond just those initial hours. My 'lizard time' under the red light therapy lamp and that invigorating treadmill walk (especially with my energy V8 or electrolytes!) truly kick things off, but what about the rest of the day? One thing I've found incredibly helpful for keeping that productivity high, especially when working from home, is scheduling intentional breaks. It's so easy to get sucked into tasks like filming or editing and forget to step away. I try to incorporate short, active breaks – maybe a quick stretch, or even just stepping outside for a few minutes. It's a mental reset that prevents burnout and keeps my focus sharp, much like how my morning Pilates session re-energizes me. Another game-changer has been managing my 'doom scrolling.' While I enjoy catching up on my walk, it's crucial to set boundaries during work hours. I’ve found that dedicating specific times, like a mid-afternoon break, for quick social media checks helps prevent endless distractions when I should be deep into a task. This way, I don't feel guilty about it, and it doesn't derail my workflow. For lunch, I love keeping it simple and nutritious, similar to my new 'scrambled egg kick' for breakfast. A quick, healthy meal prevents that afternoon slump. I also find that having a dedicated workspace, even if it's just a corner of a room, really helps me switch into 'work mode.' When I'm setting up for a 'filming day,' having all my gear ready makes the transition seamless. As the day winds down, transitioning from work to personal time is key for a truly 'productive day routine.' I make sure to wrap up my editing tasks by a certain time. This includes a final check of my to-do list for tomorrow, which mirrors the clarity I get from my morning journaling. And speaking of winding down, I love to treat myself to a little something special, like that 'Christmas treat' I had, often while relaxing with my cat. It’s a small ritual that signals the end of the workday and allows me to fully disconnect. These little habits, from structured breaks to mindful transitions and even enjoying simple pleasures, are what help my 'productive morning' extend into a truly 'productive day.' It's all about consistency and finding what works best for your unique flow, making sure you're not just starting strong, but finishing strong too!
