First week of cosmetology school down ✅

Starting cosmetology school brings a mix of excitement and challenges. In the first week, I learned foundational skills like color theory and even tackled real projects such as root touch-ups and partial highlights. While dealing with chronic pain, I've discovered the importance of self-care and patience. Coping with physical limitations like a fractured spine can be tough, but I’m learning to celebrate each small step forward. The social aspect of school is rewarding too; meeting peers who share the same journey transforms the experience. Navigating a rigorous curriculum while managing health issues can be difficult. However, this experience has taught me resilience. Engaging with classmates allows for knowledge sharing, fostering a supportive environment. Understanding that others also face obstacles motivates me to prioritize my mental and physical health. As I continue my journey, I hope to inspire others dealing with similar challenges to keep pushing forward despite adversity.
