went through the Bermuda triangle😳
Hey guys! It’s been a bit since i’ve posted and that’s for multiple reasons.
I’m pretty much all healed up from my transplant I got this year on june 10th, and not long after I was healed my parents spontaneously booked this cruise super last minute to celebrate, which my birthday ended up being during.
I gotta say I was pretty apprehensive at first, being in the middle of the ocean is a scary thought and I didn’t even know we were going to bermuda at the time. A cruise was also never really something I explicitly wanted to do either way, and I wasn’t sure about spending my birthday away from my best friends.
Ultimately, i’m glad we went because for the first time, I got the leave the United States and I have always wanted to travel and see the world. Although we only went to 3 locations, Grand Turk, Bermuda, and the bahamas, It was a great experience to see new places and try many activities.
Some of the things I did include snorkeling in grand turk, ice skating (i never really get to do this at home D:) go down water slides, sing my first karaoke in a full lounge, visit a crystal cave, and much more. I saw some awesome shows such as near olympic level ice skating, comedy shows that had my stomach hurting, and some amazing singers, although all the performers were extremely talented. The food was pretty solid, and all the workers on the ship were extremely friendly and efficient, and whenever I had a moment I would try to chat with them. Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience because I had a great time and was very disconnected for a whole week which was also nice. I realize it is a privilege to have a trip like this, and I feel lucky to have had the experience.
