Greasy hair can be a frustrating issue for many, often leading to a cycle of over-washing that strips hair of its natural oils. It's essential to find the right balance in your hair care routine. One effective method is to adjust the frequency of washing based on your hair type; those with finer hair may need more frequent washing than those with thicker strands. Consider using a clarifying shampoo occasionally to remove product buildup that can add to oiliness. Dry shampoos can be beneficial, but their effectiveness can vary greatly by brand. It's worth experimenting with different formulations to find one that suits your hair type. Look for dry shampoos that are specifically designed for oily hair, and apply them at the roots, massaging gently to absorb excess oil. If your scalp feels oily, try using a scalp scrub or exfoliating treatment to help control oiliness. Additionally, be mindful of the products you’re using on your hair. Heavy creams or styling products can contribute to excess grease. Opt for lighter products, and avoid applying them directly at the roots. Another crucial tip is to limit touching your hair throughout the day, as the oils from your hands can transfer to your hair, making it greasier. Lastly, consider consulting with a hairstylist for personalized recommendations that cater to your unique hair type and needs.

1. Shampoo twice or three times in the shower 2. Conditioner only on mids and ends of your hair 3. Use corn starch as a dry shampoo; section off hair and work into scalp 4. Make sure to wash your pillow cases AT LEAST once a week in HOT water 5. Use a silk pillowcase, I like the Kitsch brand 6. Use a silk bonnet
