BOOKS I READ OVER WINTER BREAK

i had a five book goal over break, but i only got completely through three and about 200 pages into “things we hide from the light”

the nanny: the perfect romance novel imo. cute/spicy balance, happy ending and good conflict.

fourth wing: i have never been a fantasy reader, i read divergent in middle school but that’s as far into the genre i ventured so i was skeptical to buy this book and was scared it would be a DNF.

i could not have been more wrong. im a stickler for good character, and even though we only see some characters for a few pages, i felt like i knew them. it was perfect and it inspired me to dive a bit deeper into fantasy novels.

iron flame: the plot and character development were spot on for me. other than the constant fighting between violet and xaden, it was a perfect second book and i can’t wait for more in this series.

Winter break presented the perfect opportunity to indulge in some much-needed reading. I aimed for a five-book goal but managed to complete three fascinating novels and dive into another. 'The Nanny' stood out as an exquisite romance, balancing cuteness with spice while ensuring a happy ending. Next, I took a leap into fantasy with 'Fourth Wing,' a genre I hadn't explored deeply before. This book defied my expectations, offering well-developed characters and an engaging plot that reignited my passion for fantasy literature. Lastly, 'Iron Flame' impressed me with its strong character arcs and thrilling conflict, despite some ongoing tension between the main characters, Violet and Xaden. These reads have not only entertained me but also inspired a deeper exploration of different genres, including fantasy novels. As I look ahead, I can't wait for the upcoming installments in these series, especially after the cliffhangers! If you're searching for your next book recommendations, consider these captivating reads that offer a range of emotions and storylines to keep you hooked.
