Affordable Headphones Review
Okay so I never made an official review post before bare with me.
Like last Christmas my mom was at this store called Gabe’s (it’s like TJMaxx) and found these Acellories headphones in the store for $14.99. We both didn’t know anything about the sound they just was on that shelf that be having random stuff while you’re in line to pay you would think it’s just cheap quality little things…
👍Pros :
WHEN I TELL YOU THESE ARE THE BEST HEADPHONES I HAVE EVER HAD!! I’m alllll about good bass and the bass in these are sooo strong it actually hurts my brain if it is all the way up with just one in. I looked for them on Amazon and they don’t have this brand. They have a website. Not sure if you can order from it but to my surprise they are $50! No wonder they sound so good😂 The case also can be charged with a USB-C or wirelessly from the bottom which I like that. The case I swear hold a charge for MONTHSSSS I charge it maybe 2-3 times a year at MAX and use them everyday. The earbuds also hold a charge for a very long time I’ve never had them die on me. Highly recommend!!!
The Bluetooth works very well. Auto connects as soon as I take them out the case. The distance I can be away from my phone is also pretty far it doesn’t disconnect. U can control your music or answer a call with the buttons on each earbud.
🤔Cons: my cons with the Acellories is that I can’t talk on the phone with them. Like I can and I can hear ppl but ppl say I am muffled and I have to yell for them to hear me. Also I have small ears so they just look big on me to wear I can’t sneak and have them in while at work 🫢🤫 which is why I bought these other black pair… they also try to slip out me ear sometimes but I think that’s just me having small ears it doesn’t do well with those rubber tips but I love them.
The black pair are Soundcore P30i headphones made by Anker. Reading the reviews Soundcore is apparently known for its good bass so that was a plus for me. I wanted something black and small that would be easy to hide behind my hair or something 😭. They were only $30 on Amazon. They kinda also look like beats even the symbol does so maybe these are beats dupes?? Idk
🤔Cons:
I only had them for 2 days but already they keep falling out of my ear😩 I was so mad at work. But I figured out how to fix it so it should get better. Basically bc I have small ears I put the small rubber tips on it but they are like short so it doesn’t fully go down into my ear. The Accellories rubber tips are made kinda like a cone so the tip starts small and goes out wide and is a little longer. These Soudcore ones are just wide all the way around and are short. I switched it to the larger rubber tips bc they are a little taller and bc it’s bigger I can squeeze it down into my ear and it will have a better hold. Doing this they haven’t been falling out. They are a little uncomfortable which some reviews did say but I think I can get used to it.

They bass is good. Now it’s not nearly as loud in general or as strong as my lil $14 Acellories😂 but for someone who don’t want their brains blown out by bass it’s definitely got good bass. It has an App that lets you mess around with the EQ settings. U can create a custom EQ sound effect like manually change the bass and treble and such or pick one of the premade ones. I usually select bass boosted or R&B. You can also turn on and off the 3D surround sound feature as well. I prefer it off tbh but it’s there if u like to listen to surround sound. I just feel like when it’s on the bass isn’t as strong😂 Also I like the noise cancellation feature with the ambient noise effects. This is when you are not listening to anything.
The Noise cancellation one makes your ears feel like you need to pop them. Like it muffles your ear so everything is silent. Normal mode is just normal. But I love the transparent sound feature bc unlike ppl who want noise cancellation, I like to be aware of my surroundings so this feature has the mic on and the sound it picks up around u gets put back into your ear through the headphone as if u don’t even have them in. Also there is a wind reduction feature bc like this wind noise be playing in the headphones when nothing is playing. I think it’s the mic picking up the wind and putting in into your ear. It’s not loud it sound like when u put your ear up to a shell. These features also work while u are listening to music.
Also, I CAN TALK ON THE PHONEEEE AND ITS CRISPY CLEARRR!!🥹 that’s really what I needed most bc I have no headphone that are good for that so it’s perfect. Also, the case doubles as a phone stand😂 weird but I mean it works.

Overall the Acellories are a 100/10 for me idc about if I can’t talk on the phone with them😂
The soundcore ones 8/10 bc they are a bit uncomfortable and they do fall out but I think I found a solution. Also the bass just don’t compare to the other ones. It’s good but the other one is just better. But for the average person these are great affordable headphones and they come in cute colors I got black but it come in green and I think pink as well. They have a lot of different ones on Amazon all with great reviews. They also sell over the ear headphones so I might have to get those another time too.
