Hate Twisted Hate… Let’s talk about it 😭
I wanted to like this book. Now I don’t HATE it hate it, like I’m finishing the book i have less than 100 pages left. But I wouldn’t read it again.
I love banter that back and forth of empty insults. It’s just how you communicate frl that’s like 🤌🏾
But the smuttttt. It’s wayyyyy too much of it. Like they agree to whatever enemies with benefits arrangement early in the book so the book is just filled with it and I don’t like that I like plot. The build up to ppl finally being able to be together. This was the opposite.
They hookup with no strings and then wanna stop and try and be together for real at the end of the book and that’s where all the plot come in like 3/4 into the book I hate that.
Where was all this juicy drama details of Jules life and stuff at the beginning. It hinted at it but barely touched on it frl it focused more on their arrangement and anytime a minor inconvenience happens to them they hookup to forget about whatever is on their mind I hate it. Like okay she is human not an object she isn’t here for you to use when you need her idc if its mutual it’s gross and I don’t wanna read that kinda book.
Didn’t realize it was a book trope Ick but now I know it is.
I’m mad tho bc I have all these books that lemon8 ppl said was good but that are even more smut filled than this one and probably with a lot less plot and I know imma hate them😭😭
I did enjoy the first 2 twisted books tho those where filled with plot and build up leading to finally being together I prefer that method not immediately hooking up like where is the build up😭 I like romance that is cute and like u know they like each other they just need to get through the plot to finally get there. I don’t need all the details of what they do when it’s that time either idc about allat.
To me the book feels rushed. Like so many of the pages are just nonsense smut it feels like the book wasn’t given much thought as far as a good storyline. It didn’t keep me wanting to read it which is why it’s taking me so long to finish. Like starting a relationship of the basis of using each other is just… it’s icky idk. It’s an ick I don’t really like this book or their relationship. Their “frienemy” relationship is cute when they just bicker but at the same time care about each other that’s cute but the other stuff nahhhh.
I hope the 4th book is better😭😭
