The Housemaid Series Review📖 (Spoilerss‼️⚠️)

I loved this series and I would recommend this to anyone who needs to get out of a reading slump. This series had some twists and turns (even though some of them were pretty obvious😂) but overall it’s a good read. If you’ve read this series, you get it😂. I’ll be giving my opinions and ratings about each book and everyone is welcome to share their thoughts as well to start a conversation☺️. I plan to review more books as well.

- [ ] Book 1: The Housemaid

- [ ] Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- [ ] Plot: Millie Calloway is an ex-convict trying to get a fresh start. She’s employed as a housekeeper by Nina Winchester, a wealthy woman (seemingly having an underlying mental health disorder) with an amazing (also handsome) husband and a daughter. Mrs. Winchester seems to have the perfect life, but Millie soon learns that she’s not the only one carrying a secret.

- [ ] Thoughts: Yall I didn’t want to think something was off with the husband but when he locked that door….I was like my girl Millie better activate prison mode and get up out of dodge. I knew from the minute she slept with him she was cooked.

- [ ] Book 2: The Housemaid’s Secret

- [ ] Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- [ ] Plot: We meet Millie again, still working as a housekeeper but this time things seem to be going better for her. She’s a dating a lawyer who is madly in love with her and she’s in school for social work. After her last job, she risked her life to help women in domestic violence situations. Soon, she begins working for Douglas and Wendy Garrick, another wealthy couple. Millie becomes suspicious when Wendy never comes out of her room and finds blood on her laundry. Is this another rescue mission for Millie or is there something worse going on?

- [ ] Thoughts: Honestly this took a minute to get the point & there was some details that could’ve been left out. Also Wendy was so wrong for what she did. I still enjoyed the book though, even if I got stressed out when Millie was involving overly herself.

- [ ] Book 3: The Housemaid Is Watching

- [ ] Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️

- [ ] Plot: Time has passed and Millie and Enzo are married and have two beautiful children. She’s in her dream career as a social worker while Enzo has a landscaping business. They bought a new house in the suburbs to raise their family in a quieter setting. However, their neighbors are nosy and strange, causing Millie's guard to go up. Maybe this serene neighborhood harbors some dark secrets…

- [ ] Thoughts: Wasn’t expecting the plot twist involving Millie & Enzo's kids. I thought it was going to go in another direction with the son. A lot was going on & like the 2nd book it was dragging in the beginning. Millie better than me because I would’ve been cussed out the neighbor for flirting with my husband. How everything went down was crazy though.
