As we take a deeper look at the AI functional layer in the Generative AI era, we see a complex but superiorly organized information and resource management system (Chaos). Here are 3 main elements that actually made this magic happen:
🌐 Tokenization: Converting raw data (Input Text) into a Jigsaw-like coherent Vector (Data Cubes) numerical data structure so that the Neural Network can effectively understand context and relationships.
💎 Compute Engine: A core core core (Quantum GPU Core) that acts as an Inference processes vast amounts of Data Cubes at a high speed to synthesize "intelligence" and produce results.
⚖️ Compute Credit & Balance: A resource control system (FinOps) that tracks real-time power consumption based on processed Tokens. The rest of the Credits is a gauge of how much "bargaining power" we have to use this processed power.

ประสบการณ์การใช้งาน AI ในระดับมือโปรทำให้ผมเข้าใจว่าการจัดการระบบเบื้องหลัง AI โดยเฉพาะในยุค Generative AI นั้นซับซ้อนกว่าที่หลายคนคิดมาก การแปลงข้อมูลป้อนเข้าสู่ AI ให้กลายเป็น "Tokens" หรือหน่วยข้อมูลเล็กๆที่ Neural Network สามารถอ่านและวิเคราะห์ได้นั้นเป็นขั้นตอนแรกที่สำคัญ ที่ผมเจอคือแต่ละแพลตฟอร์ม AI จะมีวิธี Tokenization แตกต่างกันไปซึ่งส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพของโมเดลโดยตรง นอกจากนี้หัวใจหลักอย่าง Compute Engine หรือที่เรียกว่า Quantum GPU Core ที่ผมใช้งานบ่อยๆ มีความสามารถในการประมวลผลปริมาณข้อมูลมหาศาลแบบขนาน ในระดับ 1.2 PFLOPS กับคอร์ประมวลผลถึง 16,384 คอร์ ทำให้การสังเคราะห์ปัญญาปล่อยออกมาได้รวดเร็วและแม่นยำเมื่อเทียบกับระบบทั่วไป สิ่งที่หลายคนอาจมองข้ามคือระบบบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรอย่าง Compute Credit & Balance หรือ FinOps ที่ช่วยติดตามการใช้พลังงานและเครดิตในแบบเรียลไทม์ ซึ่งทำให้ผมรู้สึกเหมือนมีอำนาจต่อรองและควบคุมการใช้งาน AI ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการควบคุมค่าใช้จ่ายหรือเพิ่มขีดจำกัดการใช้งานตามต้องการ สิ่งที่น่าทึ่งคือการจัดระเบียบความวุ่นวายของข้อมูลและทรัพยากรอย่างเป็นระบบนี้ ในมุมมองผมคือเสมือนสร้างสนามรบที่เต็มไปด้วย "Chaos" แต่เมื่อจัดระบบและรู้จักใช้เครื่องมือที่ถูกต้องแล้ว ก็กลายเป็นภาพความงามของเทคโนโลยีที่ทำให้ AI สามารถคำนวณและคิดวิเคราะห์ได้อย่างแข็งแกร่งและประสิทธิภาพสูง การเข้าใจสถาปัตยกรรมระดับ Pro แบบนี้ทำให้ผมรู้สึกมั่นใจขึ้นมากกับการทำงานหรือพัฒนา AI เองในอนาคต และอยากแนะนำให้ทุกคนที่สนใจลองศึกษาหลักการบริหารจัดการพลังงานและทรัพยากรที่ซ่อนอยู่เบื้องหลัง AI เพราะมันเป็นส่วนสำคัญที่จะช่วยให้เราใช้งาน AI ได้อย่างคุ้มค่า สมเหตุสมผล และยั่งยืนในระยะยาว
