You guys, I still can’t believe this happened! It all started when I saw this incredible opportunity – a 'knight challenge' from HBO for the upcoming 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' series. I decided to take a chance and submitted a video showcasing my amazing boyfriend, Dustin. Never in my wildest dreams did I think what would come next. George R.R. Martin himself, the mastermind behind Westeros, picked Dustin to be knighted! Can you imagine? My 'Tall Mustache Man,' my very own knight in shining armor, stood before hundreds of people, and was officially dubbed by GRRM. It was an absolutely surreal and magical evening. The atmosphere at the special screening was electric. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped right back into the Game of Thrones world. There were knights standing around, creating an immersive experience, and we even got these fun foam swords! It wasn't just about the knighting, though that was definitely the highlight. There was so much happening. I even competed in a little costume contest and, to my surprise, I won a copy of 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' book! We snapped so many incredible videos and took advantage of all the amazing photo opportunities. Every corner of the venue was designed to make you feel like you were part of the world of Dunk and Egg. But truly, the best part of the evening, beyond seeing my boyfriend become an actual knight, was the screening itself. This show is absolutely incredible! It's so great to be back in Westeros, exploring a different, yet equally captivating, part of its history. Sir Duncan the Tall and Egg are just so lovable and relatable characters. You find yourself instantly rooting for this hedge knight and his young squire as they navigate the often cruel world that we know Westeros can be. Their journey is filled with charm, humor, and the kind of heartfelt storytelling that makes you fall in love with the universe all over again. Thank you again to HBO, Game of Thrones, and especially George R.R. Martin for not only picking Dustin to be knighted but for giving us this unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you're a fan of the original series or just love epic fantasy, you absolutely must go watch this show. It’s a return to the heart of what makes this world so special, and seeing it on the big screen, surrounded by fellow fans, after such a personal moment, just magnified the magic.
