Whose right ??
In relationships involving co-parents, particularly where former partners share a child, the question of boundaries around financial support and gifts can become quite complex. When a man sends his baby mama $500 and books a spa day for her birthday, it is often seen as a meaningful gesture to show appreciation and acknowledge her role in their child's life. However, this can cause tension if the current partner feels displaced or undervalued. It's important to recognize that the term 'baby mama' refers to the mother of one's child, implying an ongoing connection beyond mere ex-partner status. This bond often warrants respect and care, especially when children are involved. Acts like sending money or arranging special treats not only celebrate her but also signify co-parent cooperation and goodwill. Nevertheless, managing perceptions within a new relationship is crucial. Open communication about these gestures can alleviate misunderstandings. Establishing clear agreements on what is appropriate helps all parties feel respected and secure. For instance, the current partner may appreciate knowing the intent was not to undermine the relationship but to honor a significant occasion. Furthermore, societal views on these situations vary widely, often influenced by cultural norms and personal values. No universal rule dictates right or wrong; instead, the focus should be on mutual respect, thoughtful consideration of feelings, and prioritizing the well-being of the child. Ultimately, no man should feel compelled to spoil his baby mama in a way that jeopardizes his current relationship, but neither should he cease showing kindness and appreciation. Balancing these aspects requires empathy, transparency, and sometimes, compromise, enabling blended families to thrive harmoniously.

She’s an ex for a reason. Yes she’s the mother of his child but the care should be towards & for the child. Not the mother of his child. If he’s doing all this for her then how can the wife feel any more special? A baby mom (ex at that) & his wife should not be put on the same pedestal. If that’s the case then, should he take his ex baby mom to a fancy restaurant & then later on that night his wife to a fancy restaurant??! It’s giving he wants his cake & eat it too. Sis, leave this clown ASAP. Not only that if in his opinion she’s such a “Queen” then why did he dethrone her to be with you? Make it make sense.
