This is my new invincible oc. His name is footmark

Hey everyone! So glad you're checking out my latest creation, Footmark, my new Invincible OC! I know a lot of you out there are huge fans of the Invincible universe, just like me, and are always on the lookout for cool new Invincible OCs and variant concepts. Creating Footmark has been such a blast, and I wanted to share a bit about my process and why I think coming up with unique characters for this world is so rewarding. When I started brainstorming ideas for a new Invincible variant, I really wanted to push the boundaries of what an 'Invincible' could be. We see so many powerful, human-like characters, so I challenged myself: what if an Invincible had a truly unexpected form or power set? That's how the idea of Footmark, a literal foot-based character, came to life! I was thinking about the concept of 'Invincible Mark feet' – not just Mark Grayson's feet, but what if a character was a foot? It’s definitely out there, but that’s the fun of OCs, right? It makes you wonder about their origin story – perhaps a failed Viltrumite experiment, or an alien species with this unique physiology that somehow gained Viltrumite DNA. The design process for Footmark was quite unique, as you can see from the drawing. I pictured a cartoon drawing of a human foot, but it needed personality. So, I added a face right on its sole, complete with glasses! Those little details, like the glasses, really bring out the character and give him a distinct look. It makes him memorable and adds a touch of unexpected charm. Thinking about how a character like this would move, interact, or even fight in the Invincible world was an exciting challenge. For example, what kind of powers would a 'Footmark' possess? Maybe super-strong kicks that generate shockwaves, incredible agility allowing him to 'skate' on his sole at high speeds, or even seismic stomps that can crack the earth. Perhaps he could absorb kinetic energy through his sole and unleash it, making him incredibly durable against impact. If you're looking to create your own Invincible OC or variant, my biggest tip is to think outside the box. Don't be afraid to explore unusual concepts. Consider what makes a character truly unique within the Invincible lore. Is it a twist on existing powers? A completely new origin that challenges what we know about Viltrumites? Or, like Footmark, a surprising physical form that demands a creative backstory? Giving them a compelling backstory, even a brief one, can also make them feel more real and integrated into the universe. What's their motivation? Are they a hero, a villain, or something in between?
