Ever since I got my new Moleskine journal, I've been completely hooked on junk journaling! It truly feels like the perfect canvas for collecting memories. I wanted to share a bit more about why I think Moleskines, especially the dotted notebooks, are fantastic for this creative hobby and give you some ideas to start your own. First off, the paper quality in a Moleskine is just *chef's kiss*. It holds up so well to different glues, tapes, and even some light paint or markers without buckling too much. Plus, their classic, durable cover makes me feel like I’m creating something truly precious that will last. Mine even has a cool Peanuts design, which adds an extra layer of nostalgia and fun to my pages! I love how portable they are too – perfect for tossing into my bag to collect scraps on the go. If you're looking to start your own Moleskine junk journal, don't overthink it! Gather anything that sparks joy or holds a memory: ticket stubs, dried flowers, old receipts, magazine cutouts, or even just scribbled notes. I usually pick a theme for a few pages, like my recent Christmas memories spread or a dedicated section for my favorite movie moments (hello, Spongebob!). For my Peanuts-themed pages, I've been collecting comic strips and even little stickers. The dotted grid in the notebook is super helpful for aligning things neatly, or for just letting loose and drawing. Here are a few tips I've picked up: Don't be afraid to create bulk! That's the charm of a junk journal. If pages start getting too thick, you can always add an elastic band or even a charm to keep it secure. Experiment with different adhesives – a good glue stick for paper, fabric glue for thicker bits, and sometimes even washi tape for a temporary hold or just for decoration. And don't forget to add your own handwriting; it makes the journal so much more personal. Whether you're celebrating big events or just capturing the little moments, a Moleskine junk journal provides such a wonderful way to preserve your stories. I hope this inspires you to grab a Moleskine and start your own memory-keeping adventure!

I made a similar page as well. Grease stains and all 😂.
